7 days, 7 photos #1

1. Birthday Cake
Monday- Was my birthday but I didn't get up to much as I had school, after I just went out for a meal with my family and opened my presents (haul here) Thought I'd show you my cake because it was so cute I know its very childish but idc, I love it!

2. MEGA SUPERCURLYCRUNCHIELISTIC - CHOCCABERRY SUNDAE
Tuesday- Didn't do anything apart from to go school and to dancing so I thought I'd show you the picture of the pudding I had when I went out for a meal on my birthday. It was a massive bowl the size of my head (from the bottom) it had warm chocolate brownie, berry's, vanilla ice cream, squirty cream, pieces of crunchie then a curly wurly on top! It was so nice but absolutely massive me and my sister shared it but we couldn't finish it all.

3. Extensions Moustache
Wednesday- I wore this outfit to my meal and wore my extensions so though I'd share this funny photo with you!

4. Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' Foundation
Thursday- I went out and brought the latest Rimmel foundation in was between this and Boujour Healthy Mix but at a steal price of £5.99 so I snapped it up.

5. Barry M 'Cyan Blue'
Friday- Painted my nails with 'Cyan Blue' this is the first summer colour I've wore in ages.

6. MAC 'Impassioned' and Sleek 'Life's a Peach'
Saturday- Went shopping and picked up a new MAC lipstick :-) and another sleek blush (review coming soon)

7. Forever 21 Scarf
Sunday- Sporting my new Forever 21 scarf that I purchased yesterday.

Sorry the first days were a bit long but its exiting for me to relive my birthday, ehe. Promise next time it will be shorter!

you and i, we were born to die

Dress- River Island
Shirt- Forever 21
Shoes- Topshop
Earrings- Topshop
Lips- MAC Ravishing
Sorry I didn't upload this yesterday when my outfit post is supposed to go up weekly its because I went out shopping with my friend (if you want a haul please comment below, because I know I've done a lot of hauls recently) so I didn't have any time to upload it but better late than never! This is the outfit I wore for my birthday meal on Wednesday. Just a little trip to Frankie&Bennys with my friends.

The dress and shirt were in my birthday haul, I love wearing dresses and as the weather is getting warmer I thought I should but wearing it with this shirt really dressed it down to not make it to summery. I worn my headkandy extensions (review coming soon) and just curled then with my Mark Hill curling wand.
Hope your all having a lovely weekend x

february glossybox

Duwop
Venom Gloss 'Buttercup'
£16|10.4ml
BM Beauty
Pure Mineral Eyeshadow 'Storm Cloud'
£7.00|2g

Dr Bronner
Magic Liquid Soap
£1.99|59ml

Como Shambhala
Invigorate Body Lotion
£20|300ml

Paul Mitchell
Super Skinny Relaxing Balm
£15.25|200ml

As normal this is just a post showing you what I recieved in this months glossybox not an actual review as I haven't had a proper chance to try them out.
1. Duwop Venom Gloss 'Buttercup'

Glossybox says-
"Combining subtle tinted lip gloss with DuWop's Lip Venom to create Venom Gloss"
First Thoughts-
I'm guessing its called 'Venom Gloss' because it causes a tingling sensation on the lips meaning its probably a lip
pumping product and is quite nice and refreshing actually compared to other ones I've tried (yes I'm talking about you Soap&Glory 'Sexy MotherPucker') its sort of minty but doesn't have a very nice smell. I've only tried this once but its a lovely peachy nude colour which I like and has a really nice glossy finish without being sticky.

2. BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eyeshadow 'Storm Cloud'
Glossybox says-
"Award winning pure mineral eyeshadow. Cruelty free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans."
First Thoughts-

I'm not one for wearing much eyeshadow there's just a few I reach for on special occasion's and that's it really because I feel like it doesn't really suit me or do anything to improve the look of my eyes. This colour is lovely but I haven't had chance to swatch it yet, this is the first product I have received from Glossybox that I probably won't be using and will give to my mom unfortunately.

3. Dr Bronner Magic Liquid Soap
Glossybox says-
"A combination of organic extra virgin coconut, olive jojoba and hemp oils, together with pure essential oils."

First Thoughts-
The fact that we have received quite a few shower gels in previous boxes is a bit annoying as this is about my 4th one, I feel like shower gels aren't very exciting or that beauty related. There the sort of thing that I would buy myself easily for £1 and not be bother about to much with the exception of the Rituals one which is high end and a bit more glamours the fact that this is a £1.99 standard shower gel doesn't excite me and I'm quite disappointed in this product plus it has no scent.

4. Como Shambhala Invigorate Body Lotion
Glossybox says-
"A revitalizing blend of essential oils that puts you in a perfectly uplifted mood."
First Thoughts-
The same with this we had received so many body lotions and its just a bit boring really. I don't see how it can be uplifting without a scent but I haven't tried it yet so I'll have to see when I have had a proper use.

5. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm

Glossybox says-
"Intense hydrating treatment for your hair."
First Thoughts-
This is my favorite product from this box and the only one I have really used its basically a serum for curly/wavy hair. You just apply it you your damp hair and its supposed to be moisturizing and give the curls a nice bonce, and shorten drying time and it really does, a lot!

Overall the February box is probably my least favorite so far :-( feel bad that, that's how I feel but its true there's no point in lying I just don't feel like there's been as much effort put into this box as previous ones even though there probably has. The facts that the last few have been special addition is probably the reason because it couldn't get much better than that. Anyway I'm sure next months box will be much better.

like glitters raining on me

denim collared shirt- New Look
jumper- New Look
trousers- Topshop
ear hook- Topshop
lip gloss- Natural Collection 'Fondant'

My hair looks oddly lopsided in the third picture but i can assure you its not, not wearing a jacket today because the weather in the UK is finally warming up *yayayayay*. I know i wear these trousers a lot and you will probably be seeing them in loads more outfit of the days to come but when its still cold i don't really have much else to wear. I can't wait till summer when i can wear leggings, shorts and shirts there much more fun and look a lot nicer.

I might not be posting for a while as its my birthday and have a few things planned but after my birthday my blog is going to improve loads as i am hoping for a new camera as i mention before. The next post will probably be a birthday haul then i will get into my schedule that i planned here

review: lush bath bar 'magic mushroom'

I recently purchases this bath ballistic and was in my last haul here. Even though they are discontinued now and were limited edition valentine's day one (unsure if they will be available next year) It is an average price in the Lush bath bomb range for £2.45.
What Lush have to say:

"Some like to say it with flowers, but if you really want to make an impression on your beloved then you can’t do better than a bunch of mushrooms! Our Magic Mushroom is possibly the cutest bubble bar we've ever made, and he’s back by popular demand for another shot with Cupid’s arrow.
Magic Mushroom’s bright red top is scented with our famous Vanillary fragrance, while his white stem smells of strawberries, making a yummy strawberries and cream combo that’ll give piles of fruity bathtime bubbles."
when i first dropped the 'magic mushroom'
in it just sank to the bottom and sat there.

then it was slowly giving
off an orangy, red colour.

eventually the bath ballistic turned all soft
like play doe but still in the shape of the ' magic mushroom'

so i broke it up in my hands and sprinkled it  in my bath.

Review:
I plopped this lovely looking bomb into my bath (sad too see it go really) and was ready watch it fizz away as i expected from a bath bar (as id never tried one before) but it didn't it just sat there at the bottom of the bath which was a bit disappointing because i like my bath bombs to fizz away, even though that is the only real down side. I picked it up and the red part on the actual mushroom was coming off a bright neon colour which was lovely and i really liked! I crushed it in  my hands and it eventually melted away turning my bath this lovely orange colour, the water was so soft and smelt of vanilla and strawberry's i loved the fact it made my whole bathroom smell of it and that the scent stayed on my skin all night. That fact that it didn't fizz made me think that they wouldn't be any bubbles just the colour but as your can see there was quite a few which was really nice and relaxing. Overall i really like this bath bar and it was defiantly worth the money, even though it is not available now i hope it is brought back next valentine! I'm looking forward to trying out more Lush bath ballistics.

Disclaimer- I purchased this product with my own money and was not sponsored in anyway to do this review these are my own thoughts and opinions as always.

small haul: boots, superdrug, lush and forever21

Too Faced- tinted beauty balm
Natural Collection- passionfruit body spray
Lush- magic mushroom
Sleek- blush in pixie pink
Collection 2000- extreme 24 hr felt tip liner

Sleek blush in 'Pixie Pink 936'
from Superdrug

When Forever 21 first popped up in the UK i was really excited because it seems to be a big hit in the USA and had seen some really good items but last year nothing really caught my eye. Today i found quite a lot but most is for my birthday (haul coming soon) and got this lovely denim shirt with an eagle in a American flag style and i think this will be lovely with the shorts i'm going to talk about next in the summer for only £16.75 i though this was a steal! The shorts i got are sort of a denim looking pare of shorts that are actual velvet to the touch. There a dark denim and can't wait to wear them in the summer.
I also got a few makeup items i've been wanting to try for a while. Including Collection 2000 felt tip liner as my Topshop one seems to have dried out already and isn't very precise. Thought i'd try out at least one thing from the Lush valentine day collection so i ended up buying the 'magic mushroom' bath ballistic which smells amazing!
