healthy breakfast smoothie.

Recently I have trying to be a bit healthy and I thought I'd share with you what I normally have for breakfast, its filling and really good for you. Its very simple and takes no time but if you are really pushed for time in the morning you could just make it the night before in a take out cup and drink it on your way out.

Ingredients:
150g low fat organic yogurt.
100g of frozen berries (raspberries are is what I prefer)

1 small banana .
1 tbsp of muesli.

Method

First of all you need to put your natural yogurt, berries and your flaxseed or muesli in a blender and blend until the its a liquid with no lumps in it. Then add the banana and blend for around 15 seconds, just pour into a glass and your ready to go. Told you it was simple, enjoy:--)

barry m nail paint collection.

Could think of a post to do today so I decided to post about my Barry M nail collection, I don't have to many compared to other people on here. I think I have around 10. I am hoping to get a few more soon including mint green and also want to try out there clear coat and some different colored crackle polish. Barry M are my favorite nail polish to use not just because of how there apply(which is amazing by the way) but the wide range of colors and the gorgeous packaging. They are really good value for money and are around £2.99 at Boots and Superdrug but there are normally offers on 2 for £5. The crackle ones retail at around £3.99, so I'm not going to go into much detail on all the colors but I will talk about a few of my favorites.

left to right
bright purple 303
raspberry 273
coral 296
peach melba 318
- this one is probably my favorite summer nail color and my most used nail varnish, its a gorgeous peachy baby pink and look lovely with a tan.
berry ice cream 308
- this is also one I find myself reaching for in the summer months its a pretty lilacy purple.

left to right

cyan blue 294
spring green 290

-this was my first every Barry M nail paint and to be honest I don't know why I brought it because I have only wore it once.
mushroom 310
- this is my second bottle of this so already you can
tell how much I love this but it a really nice color for winter and you are able to wear it anywhere with anything.
pink iridescent 264
- I brought this because I love to put a glitter varnish on my ring finger and I didn't have a decent one, nothing more to say really.
black nail effect 311
- I'm sure you have heard about these already because they have been around a while now and plenty of brands make them in lots of different colors but basically you able a thin layer over any color varnish and it shows the color through in the cracks of it. Perfect for livening up any nail color.

OOTD.

jumper primark £16
burgundy skinny jeans topshop £38
belt primark £1
Though I'd do a quick post on my outfit today I wasn't doing anything special but I really love this christmasy jumper I got recently from primark. All I did today was do a bit of Christmas shopping :--)

p.s I am aware my hips look weird and it appears I have no waist, this is because the jumper is supposed to be much longer over legging meaning I had to double it up at the bottom making it a lot thicker. Also the jeans are massive on the waist for me but where I live the nearest topshop is very small and selective and they didn't have another size:--( just thought I'd let you know.

perfect winter lip.

Sorry this is even worse quality than on my camera because it was taken on my blackberry, which has the worst camera ever. Anyway even though you can't exactly see how lovely this lip color is I am still going to be telling you the products used. I love messing around with lip colors because I think there is so much you can do with, and they are probably my favorite makeup product especially mac ones.
First I exfoliated my lips with my really simple homemade lip scrub which I will do a post later on and then just applied a little vasaline and left that to moisturize my lips. The base was a mac creamsheen in 'ravishing' which is a lovely nudy orange color perfect for winter, over the top of this I applied a Barry M limited edition lip gloss in nearly nude (which came with the limited edition impulse spray)

NOTD.

Thought I would do a post on what I have been wearing on my nails recently because I think its a gorgeous color together especially for winter. My camera really isn't doing it justice but I'm just going to have to put up with it for now. Basically I apply a clear base coat and left it to dry for five minutes then apply on coat of Barry m 'mushroom'(Barry m nails paints are my favorite nail varnish to use and I rarely use any other brand) then left that to dry for about ten  minutes. That's what I love about Barry m you don't need to apply two coats. Them I applied the Barry m crackle effect over the top and that's it you have the perfect, simple and easy winter nail color.

sorry.

I'm sorry that my pictures are rubbish quality because I am sure you guys are used to HD quality but for now I don't have a brilliant camera even though it is defiantly on my list. I am hoping to receive one for christmas or my birthday, if not I am very sorry and hope this doesn't effect your opinon on my blog for now. It will be inproving soon, promise!

small haul.

Yesterday I went shopping with my Mom to get a few Christmas present so I picked up a few things for myself as well but I didn't get to much but I just thought I'd show you anyway.

mac
mac lipstick in hue 'glaze' £13.50
I picked up one thing from mac, a glaze lipstick in 'hue' I've only got one other mac lipstick but I heard a lot of great things about 'hue' and have been thinking about what lipstick to get next so I settled for this one. Its a lot sheerer than I expected but its a lovely build-able colour.

swached, rubbish quality :--(
                                                                       topshop
felt tip liner 'jet' £6

Unfortunately I was unable to find any clothing items that really caught my eye but I was planning to get the mac felt tip liner but heard views that this one was just as good, so I picked it up. Its very pigmented but I haven't had a chance to try it on my eyes yet as it its for christmas.

urban outfitters
christmas jumper £32
I love christmas its the time when I can just sit back and relax it big christmasy grandad jumpers I have a few but my favorite one is the one everyone seems to have so I wanted to find another one. I came across this gorgeous black and white one with reindeer's on in urban outfitters, it says it is hand knitted so fingers crossed no one else will have it.

                                                                          primark
shoulder bag 'blue and orange' £5
Don't really need another bag but this the lovely colours on this bag really caught my eye and reduced from £10 to £5 I just had to have it!
legging 'camel' £3

deer ring £2 and aztec wrist wrap £1.50

Think this ring is perfect for Christmas for some reason I think its because it reminds me as reindeer's and for £2 I though it was absolutely amazing value and I am glad I finally managed to purchase it as I don't go to primark often.

snowflake babygrow 'red and white' £10
Really wanted a baby grow considering everyone seems to have one and this one is perfect to keep be warm on cold winter nights.
                                                                               h&m
bodycon skirt 'camel' £3

striped top 'beige' £9.99
sorry this post is a bit picture heavy but didn't have much to say.

november glossybox.

glossybox.co.uk
Early this week I received my 6 th glossy box. If I'm honest I wasn't expecting to much of this months glossybox considering last months was a special addition with and extra product and really it wasn't to much, but for an amazing £12.75 I can't be expecting all full size products every month but hopefully next months will be as good as October :--)
Product Received This Month:

Nail Rock, Designer Nail Wraps.

The first product I received in this months glossybox, was these wonderful nail wraps. A couple of months ago I received the same idea but for your toes which went terribly wrong so I wasn't in much hurry to try another but these seem to be much easier to apply. Unlike the others all you need to do with these is apply nail varnish remover to varnish free nails then smooth the nail wraps on your nail and shape them around you nail. Also they should last up to seven days which is amazing considering I normally end up painting mine two or three time a week because I can't stand chipped nails! What glossybox has to say 'They won't chip or stain the nail, require no drying time and deliver on trend style in just 15 minutes. For a pack it would cost you £6.65 which is around half the price of a glossybox 'good I know!' you can purchase these at nailrock.com where there are plenty of gorgeous designs to choose from but mine are called black lace on red (original )I am planning to have ago with them tomorrow night and if they go to plan (finger crossed) I will do a post on what they've turned out like:--) e fi

Phillip Kingsley, Elasticizer.
Dead See Spa Magik, Delicate Boosting Mask.
Arbonnem Ultra Hydrating Hand Creme.

I'll start with Phillip Kingsley, Elasticizer which retails at £52.10 for a 500ml bottle so you've pretty much got your money back already considering you get a healthy size sample. I have used this product twice in the last week and its left my hair feeling soft and much more manageable but basically its a moisturizing pre shampoo treatment. Before you wash your hair when its wet you apply the product in sections and leave on for 10-15 minutes then just shampoo and condition as normal. If I'm honest I don't I would pay the full price for this product but its defiantly starting to improve my hairs condition so I'll have to wait and see how it helps my hair  and may consider repurchasing this product.

The second sample was Dead See Spa Magik, Delicate Boosting Mask which retails at £8.80. I haven't had chance to try this product yet, but it smells lovely, so I won't go into much detail but it claims to be a deeply hydrating boosting mask. You apply it with your fingers all over your face and leave for 10-15 minutes then remove with a damp sponge.

I also received Arbonne, Ultra Hydrating Hand Creme this retails at £19 for 118ml, which personally I don't see why you would spend that much on a hand creme. Anyway it has kiwi cell extracts and moisture fresh complex (no idea what that is?) Really its not that special apart from the fact it spells heavenly but I only used it once when I first received my box and if I'm honest I hardly ever use hand creme because my hands never seem dry and I never remember either.

Illamasque, Freak Eau De Parfum.

The last product is an Illamasque perfume sample and I will be honest and admit I really am not a big fan of this its is extremely strong for me and spells very fake and chemicals like nail varnish remover? unlike my ideal perfume light and floral. I've heard it is a unisex scent, I may be mistake but that may explain why personally i don't think I will be using this. The only reason I am keeping it, is the the gorgeous packaging.
