review, lush lipscrub

 Recently i took a trip to Lush and picked up a few things including this lip scrub named mint julips which i've heard a lot about over youtube and other beauty blogs so i though i'd give it a shot. My lips are quite dry anyway so especially in winter and i find it quite hard to stop my lips flaking throughout the day which looks awful with lipstick on! I also find it hard to get a nice smooth surface as my lips seem to have all sorts on nooks and crannies in them. I've tried to make my own before because i though they'd be just the same with sugar and honey and didn't really see much of improvement so went to see if Lush could do a better job considering everyone seemed to love them. They retail  for £4.95 which at first i thought was a bit pricey for a bit of sugar but it really is worth it, all you need is a pea size about out of the 25g jar and gently rub it on your lips you can then either lick it off with your lips (which is what i prefer because it tastes so nice!) or just wipe away with a tissue. Then this is optional but i like to apply a lip balm and then apply your lipstick/lip gloss. After applying not only were all the flakes of skin gone and stayed away all day but my lips felt really plumped and refeshed which i love. Overall i think this is a great product and really worth the money i would defiantly recommend this flavor as it tastes of mint and chocolate *yum* and i'm defiantly going to be repurchasing this again and again :-)
